Dear Friends, Patients and Colleagues,
In follow-up to my recent announcement, it is with great excitement that I wish to let you know I will now be able to care for patients at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
I have known many of you for the past 30 years. I therefore think of all of you as my dear friends. We have had many good times together performing the most rewarding of endeavors… incrementally repairing the world. I owe you all the greatest debt of gratitude for entrusting me with the care of yourselves and your patients.
Although I am closing Maryland Bariatrics and Advanced Weight Loss Surgery on December 30, 2024, I will be transitioning to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital where I will continue to practice. Until December 30, 2024, we will continue to see patients at my current location. In December, I will send a follow up correspondence with more detail on how to make appointments and refer patients. In the meantime, we look forward to continuing to care for you and your patients.
With warmest regards,
Barry S. Greene, MD
