Dear Friends, Patients and Colleagues,
I have known many of you for the past 30 years. I therefore think of all of you as my dear friends. We have had many good times together performing the most rewarding of endeavors……. incrementally repairing the world. I owe you all the greatest debt of gratitude for entrusting me with the care of yourselves and your patients. I have always tried to provide care as if each patient was my greatest responsibility.
With deep regret, I must now announce the closure of Maryland Bariatrics and Advanced Weight Loss Surgery as of December 30, 2024. Negotiations continue with a local institution where I can continue to work in order to maintain your long-term care. I will keep you updated with another announcement. This information will also be on the website.
With warmest regards,
Barry S. Greene, MD
