We have some exciting things going on at the practice and wanted to keep you informed. Dr. Barry and the whole Maryland Bariatrics team will continue to serve patients in our Rockville location and at the nearby hospitals. However, Dr. Joe will be transitioning to seeing patients and operating out of Reston Hospital Center starting in September.
New Bariatric Surgeon Reston Virginia
At Reston Hospital Center, Dr. Joe will be the medical director of National Bariatric and Surgical Specialists and institution’s bariatric surgeon. He is excited to lead the way into the future of robotic weight loss surgery serving the greater DMV with an expanded operating schedule to serve more patients.
All of Dr. Joe’s patients who are still preparing for their surgeries may continue on to have their surgery with him at his new location, and all patients who have had surgery with him in the past will have two “homes” to receive follow up care, both in Rockville and in Reston. Despite the minor change in venue, Dr. Joe will still remain an active member of the DMV bariatric surgery community.
